This unique location is also tied to two famous composers:
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart stayed here from March 16 to May 2, 1781, as part of the entourage of Salzburg Archbishop Hieronymus Count Colloredo. Later, Johannes Brahms spent an extended period here from 1863 to 1865.
